Boat ride on the Chari river. From NDJ to Lake Chad, this is the border between Cameroun and Tchad, but in the dry season you can wade across it. On this trip we had a thunderstorm tear down on us, and you can see the wall of dust as we scramble out of the boat. There are hippos, but you can't go near them or they will flip and maul you like a monster truck eating a bus load of vespas.
