the bug or the egg

Just back from vacation and found out that avacadoes are back in season. I started eating my omelet-avacado sandwich for lunch (hold the mayo, heavy on the powdered hot pepper) when I heard a crunch between my teeth. Checking, it was just an egg shell that got mixed into the omelet batter. Only after a few more crunches did I find the bug.
